Yeah, okay... I never claimed to be much of a writer. I just remembered how beautiful the artwork was in all of the old story books I used to have as a kid, and I thought I'd try my hand at it. I really don't know why I don't do cute more often, it's fun... even if my soul really itches to draw monsters after an excess of pastel and big eyes.

And you know what's fun? I figured out which photoshop brushes to use to proximate color pencils and a sort of limited watercolor and it looks really darn close to the real thing, in my opinion. Now, if only I can make digital art look like digital art while still being interesting and dynamic. There's gotta be a special trick to it that everyone else is getting, that I'm not.
